Been a long time since....

Wow it has been so long since I have done this its ridiculous!! but I am sure that the 2 of you that read this havent lost any sleep over it. Well I guess a few things have happened since I last posted.

For starters Crystal moved to Florida to be closer to Darren. That alone has been weird being that we have always been just a holler down the hall from each other and then when I got married just a 10 minute drive down the road. So it has been different with out her around.

Secondly Papa (Grandad) scared me like I have never been before in my LIFE!!! He had a massive heart attack and had to be revived at the Hospital. I cant really explain the feelings that I felt when I heard that someone I deeply love and has never really had any medical issues period has gone out of this world suddenly then miraclously brought back but is still very unstable. I just remember feeling so helpless and asking God to pull him through this. Praise God He did! Papa had a Double bypass surgery and is home now and getting stronger everyday. I do believe he is the strongest 79 year old I have ever known. God has just been doing alot of cool things in the people close around me lately including me!

I have been given the opportunity to lead a small group recently for my church. Every Thursday night I meet with 10 to 14 people at my friends matt and laurens. We study different things from the past weeks sermon to just a study I have made myself. I can honestly say there has never been anything in my life that has challenge me more and brought me closer to God than this. Its truly amazing this season I am in right now. I feel closer to Him than I ever have. Plus I am seeing Him do some things in the people in our Small Group that just shows me that if we take one step towards God, God will take two steps towards us. So if anyone happens to stumble across this blog and is not part of a small group and you are curious to what it is all about please hit me up and ask me about it. You dont have to be a part of our church to come. You wont regret it. Its laid back and great place to meet new people.

Well this has felt good. I mean I am laying hear in bed its 10:27 and kelly has been asleep for an hour and a half and I believe my eyes are telling me its time for some rest.

Last Weekend

Wow so here I am a week after all the excitement getting the time and energy to write about it.

So the service for the youth was amazing! The music was awesome, the message was just what the kids needed and the response from the kids was amazing. Alot of them made decision for Christ which was an awesome blessing.

So after the service all the kids loaded up (which was a estimated 120-140 teens) and drove to adventure landing in raleigh for and all night binge of Mountain Dew, Pizza, Go-Karts, Putt putt Golf, Laser Tag, and Arcade games. Some crazy stuff went down as you can see.

So on the way home we had some fun picking on some of the people that couldnt quite make it home before they went to sleep.

So we had a blast and I cant wait till we can do it again.

Tonights Life Group

Well tonight was another good night at small groups. We got to talk about Joshua and how making the right decisions doesnt always mean that there is gonna be a good outcome or an immediate reward but keeping our faith and knowing that our great reward will be in heaven one day is what will shape and strengthen our walk with Christ. ( someone please congratulate me on that great RUN-ON sentence)So tomorrow is the beginning of a crazy weekend and by Sunday me and kelly are sure to be zombies.

New Racket!!

So I have had the same Ping Pong paddle for about 2 or 3 years now and I have failed to ever replace the rubber on it. So needless to say I am well over due a paddle upgrade. So after strenuous searching for a paddle that will have high spin and speed rating. I have found the one. That's right this bad boy will be inflicting pain to everyone it plays against. So watch out!! Its on the way!
